The context

The business behind the brief

The Multi Industry CRM Engine is one configurable CRM supporting different service-business workflows. The six configurations are lawn care, pest control, real estate, HVAC, beauty and wellness services, and auto detailing.

The product uses tailored pipeline configurations to represent the service stages of each trade within one CRM, rather than maintaining a separate application for each workflow.

The challenge

What the system needed to solve

  • 01

Support six different service contexts within one configurable CRM product.

  • 02

Represent tailored pipelines for lawn care, pest control, real estate, HVAC, beauty and wellness services, and auto detailing.

  • 03

Keep configuration meaningful to each business without presenting six separate applications.

The solution

From requirements to working software

Delivered functionality and implementation boundaries.

01

Use a shared CRM core

The product supports pipeline configuration rather than requiring each vertical to be described as a separate CRM. A shared engine provides the common context for managing an enquiry through a sequence of operational stages. The product's distinguishing capability is that the sequence can fit the trade.

02

Adapt field-service pipelines

Lawn care, pest control and HVAC need pipeline language that reflects service work. An enquiry, a service assessment and scheduling are different operational moments. Tailoring the pipeline lets the CRM represent that sequence in the vocabulary of the relevant operation.

03

Adapt appointment and vehicle workflows

Beauty and wellness services and auto detailing have their own service context. A tailored pipeline provides a way to express that context within the same CRM product. Beauty refers to nonmedical services; the automotive configuration described here does not establish lending or financing functionality.

04

Keep property operations in scope

The real estate configuration applies to operational relationship management. It is not a claim that the CRM handles escrow or financial transactions. Configuration supplies the stages and terminology to the common engine, so property enquiries can follow their own pipeline.

Technical implementation

Architecture and system boundaries

A representative implementation would store accounts, contacts and opportunities in PostgreSQL, with versioned pipeline definitions and a Node.js API enforcing permitted transitions. A React workspace would render trade-specific stages from configuration. This is a sensible implementation model for the documented configurable pipelines, not a verified historical technology stack.

Business impact

The delivered outcome

  • Different trades can use tailored pipeline terminology
  • Pipeline configuration is supported within one CRM product
  • The six workflow configurations share the same product concept

Let’s talk about the system you need.

Tell us where the current process breaks down. We can map the workflow, examine the integration requirements and define a practical scope for the build.

  • A mutual NDA is signed before project details are shared.
  • Scope is fixed in writing before any build starts.
  • You own the source code, the IP and the documentation at delivery.
  • Support plans are available and tailored on a discovery or technical call.
