The context

The business behind the brief

An HVAC contractor website needed to connect service information with the next customer action. The delivered scope covered nine pages, membership pricing functionality and a service request flow.

The central design problem was moving a visitor from understanding a service to submitting a useful enquiry, without presenting the request as an already confirmed appointment.

The challenge

What the system needed to solve

  • 01

Organize HVAC service information across nine pages with a clear path to the relevant service.

  • 02

Connect membership information to the service-request journey.

  • 03

Distinguish an enquiry from a confirmed appointment in the customer interface.

The solution

From requirements to working software

Delivered functionality and implementation boundaries.

01

Give the website a service structure

Nine pages provide the site structure for the contractor's content and actions. The important relationship is between understanding a service and reaching the request flow. A visitor needs to be able to identify the relevant service without first understanding the contractor's internal organization.

02

Present membership decisions

Membership pricing functionality gives the contractor a way to present service coverage alongside the request journey. The customer needs to understand what a membership covers before choosing the next action. Published amounts are not reproduced in this case study.

03

Collect the service need

The service request flow connects the page content to an enquiry about work. Service type and a description of the problem provide useful context for the next conversation. A submitted request and a confirmed appointment are different states and should be described separately in the interface.

Core functionality

What the product lets people do

  • Nine-page service information architecture
  • Membership options and pricing functionality
  • Customer service-request flow

Technical implementation

Architecture and system boundaries

A representative implementation statically renders the nine-page information structure and uses a server-validated endpoint for service requests. Membership coverage and pricing can be structured content. The original framework and delivery provider are not established, so this architecture is presented as a proposal rather than a historical claim.

Representative implementation

Business impact

The delivered outcome

  • Visitors can find HVAC service information across a defined nine-page structure
  • Membership information and service requests are part of the delivered website
  • The request journey gives customers a clear next step after reviewing a service

Let’s talk about the system you need.

Tell us where the current process breaks down. We can map the workflow, examine the integration requirements and define a practical scope for the build.

  • A mutual NDA is signed before project details are shared.
  • Scope is fixed in writing before any build starts.
  • You own the source code, the IP and the documentation at delivery.
  • Support plans are available and tailored on a discovery or technical call.
