Service
Stripe Development
We integrate Stripe for one off payments, subscriptions and marketplace payouts, keeping card data out of your systems and orders driven by verified webhooks.

Usage
What we build with Stripe
- Checkout and Payment Intents for online payment
- Subscription billing with entitlement derived from billing state
- Stripe Connect with split payments and supplier payouts
- Saved payment methods for repeat and deposit charges
- Refund, dispute and chargeback handling
- Settlement reconciliation against payouts and fees
Rationale
Why we choose it
The card never reaches your servers
Hosted fields and a hosted checkout keep cardholder data in Stripe, which is what removes your systems from the flow and reduces the compliance work you carry.
The event model is honest
Webhooks describe what actually happened rather than what the browser thinks happened, which is why orders and subscriptions should be driven by them.
Connect solves payouts properly
Marketplace payouts involve identity verification and money movement that is genuinely hard to build. Connected accounts handle it.
Practice
Architecture patterns we use
Webhook driven order creation
The completed session or succeeded payment intent creates the order. The success page reads it. A customer closing the tab therefore changes nothing.
Idempotency keys on every write
Charges and transfers carry a key derived from the business operation, so a retry after a timeout cannot double charge.
Entitlement derived from subscription state
Access is computed from the current subscription rather than stored as a flag, so a failed renewal or a mid cycle change is always reflected.
Event log before processing
Events are stored by identifier and acknowledged immediately, then processed from the log, which handles duplicates, ordering and replay.
3D Secure handled explicitly
The authentication requirement is surfaced to the customer as a step rather than allowed to become a silent decline.

Build with our Stripe engineers
Tell us what you are building and what it has to connect to. We will come back with an approach, a scope and what it would take.
- A mutual NDA is signed before project details are shared.
- Scope is fixed in writing before any build starts.
- You own the source code, the IP and the documentation at delivery.
- Support plans are available and tailored on a discovery or technical call.
