Service

n8n Development

We build and host n8n workflows for cross system automation, with retries, run history and controls, and we say when code would be the better answer.

Usage

What we build with n8n

  1. Cross system automations between CRM, email, accounting and payments
  2. Inbound webhook processing with routing and enrichment
  3. Scheduled synchronisation and reconciliation jobs
  4. Language model steps for classification, extraction and drafting
  5. Notification and escalation flows
  6. Data movement between platforms with no direct integration

Rationale

Why we choose it

  • It runs on infrastructure you own

Self hosted means the workflows, the credentials and the data stay inside your environment rather than on a vendor platform.

  • Changes do not need a deployment

Flows that change often, such as routing and notification rules, can be edited by your team without a release cycle.

  • Run history makes it debuggable

Every execution records its inputs, outputs and errors, which is what turns a support question into a two minute answer.

Practice

Architecture patterns we use

  • Thin workflows, thick services

Complex logic lives in a service the workflow calls. Business rules buried inside dozens of nodes are untestable and unreviewable.

  • Idempotent steps

Actions carry a key derived from the record and the step, so a retried execution does not send twice.

  • Error branches and dead letter handling

Failures route to a defined branch that records the payload for replay rather than ending the run silently.

  • Credentials in the platform store

Secrets live in the credential store with scoped access and a documented rotation procedure, never in node parameters.

Build with our n8n engineers

Tell us what you are building and what it has to connect to. We will come back with an approach, a scope and what it would take.

  • A mutual NDA is signed before project details are shared.
  • Scope is fixed in writing before any build starts.
  • You own the source code, the IP and the documentation at delivery.
  • Support plans are available and tailored on a discovery or technical call.
