Printful Integration
We integrate print on demand fulfilment so an order placed in your store becomes a submitted job with tracking, without anyone touching a spreadsheet.

Usage
What we build with Printful
- Order submission from your commerce system to fulfilment
- Product and variant mapping between catalogue and fulfilment catalogue
- Print file management and mockup generation
- Shipping rate quoting at checkout
- Status and tracking written back to the order and the customer
- Mixed fulfilment where some lines ship from your own stock
Rationale
Why we choose it
No inventory risk on printed goods
Items are produced after they are sold, which removes the working capital and the dead stock that apparel ranges otherwise carry.
The catalogue is broad
A wide product range with consistent print handling means a brand can extend a line without a new supplier relationship.
It automates end to end
Submission, production, shipping and tracking happen without a person in the loop once the mapping is correct.
Practice
Architecture patterns we use
Idempotent submission
Each order carries an external reference so a retry does not create a second production job.
Variant mapping as data
The relationship between your variant and the fulfilment variant is stored and validated, because a silent mismatch ships the wrong size.
Rate quoting at checkout
Shipping is quoted from the fulfilment provider for the actual basket rather than estimated, with a cached fallback if the service is slow.
Status reconciliation
A scheduled comparison catches orders that were submitted but never progressed, which is the failure mode customers notice first.
Per line routing
An order can split between print on demand and your own stock, with tracking merged so the customer sees one order.

Build with our Printful engineers
Tell us what you are building and what it has to connect to. We will come back with an approach, a scope and what it would take.
- A mutual NDA is signed before project details are shared.
- Scope is fixed in writing before any build starts.
- You own the source code, the IP and the documentation at delivery.
- Support plans are available and tailored on a discovery or technical call.
